Aston Martin treated F1 fans to witness the first dynamic run of the phenomenal Valkyrie hypercar at the British Grand Prix this weekend, with the 1,160bhp machine lapping Silverstone just before qualifying.

Dreamt up by the legendary Red Bull Racing designer Adrian Newey, the Valkyrie certainly turned heads at the iconic Silverstone Circuit under the control of Aston Martin High Performance Test Driver Chris Goodwin.

The Valkyrie that took to the track is the first verification prototype, and is adorned in livery reminiscent of the Aston Martin Red Bull Racing RB15 Formula 1 car racing in the 2019 season.

Just 150 cars will be sold, each going for an asking price of £2.5million. They are due for delivery in the next few months.
