Aston Martin have announced their Valkyrie hypercar is to enter the historic 24 Hours of Le Mans in 2021.

Thanks to a clarification on the rules around hypercars by the Automobile Club de l’Ouest, Aston Martin have announced they will enter at least two specially-produced Aston Martin Valkyrie hypercars in the famous French race in the WEC 2020/2021 season.

This bespoke version of the F1-inspired hypercar, designed by Red Bull Racing CTO Adrian Newey, will boast a normally-aspirated 6.5-litre V12 engine.
