Due to growth we are looking for 2 experienced Test Engineers to develop and deliver test solutions and methodology that will ultimately provide our client with a world class test facility.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • The Benchmarking of our test methodology and systems versus “World Class”
  • Working alongside group leaders to define and deliver test capability.
  • Partnering with Product Engineering Team Leaders to define test solutions that support Track Vs Dyno methodology.
  • Provide Technical lead to standalone business projects where interdepartmental resource is defined and seconded
  • Seek out potential technology partners from key expert suppliers.

Your Profile:

  • Degree with 2:1 classification or above in a relevant engineering subject (Eg Mechanical, Electrical, etc)
  • and 2+ years’ experience in challenging Automotive/Powertrain  Test engineering environment.
  • Excellent understanding the Automotive/Powertrain Test facilities, Instrumentation and Infrastructure. 
  • Ability to apply first principles knowledge and practical experience to understand and develop complex Electrical/Mechanical system solutions.
  • Strong knowledge of dSpace, Matlab Simulink, National Instruments or the equivalent control and automation platforms used in Powertrain/Subsystem Testing.
