An assignment is available for Document Controllers to assist a Nuclear New Build project working in the Manchester City Centre area.

Roles and Responsibilities:
• Create and update document records within Document Management System in-line with the Clients document and records standard
• Upload, retrieve, share, archive and electronic records and documents
• Ensure accurate document and record classification/metadata
• Ensure that company procedures are followed with regards to the seamless flow of information to meet business demands
• To assist in regular audits of the Document Management System to ensure full regulatory and legal compliance
• To assist users to navigate within Document Management System
• To assist users with creation and formatting of documentation in-line with Client brand guidelines
• To assist the Document Controller with the implementation of new document management technology as and when required
 

Person Specification:
Essential

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate some or all of the following:
Degree or equivalent experience
Significant experience in document control
Good  understanding  of  document  management  processes  in  a  highly  regulated environment
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint
Experience of the legal, regulatory, security and nuclear regulations for managing documents
Technical experience/knowledge of systems, safety, and environmental standards
Basic understanding of UK nuclear legislative and regulatory requirements

Desirable
Knowledge of Nuclears needs and requirements
Knowledge of Nuclear Sector
Experience of working in a high hazard environment
Essential Experience : 
• Ability to achieve Baseline Personnel Security Standard clearance 
• Excellent oral and communication skills within a multi-cultural organisation 
• Must be proactive, use individual initiative, follow assignments through to completion             
• High attention to detail and accuracy whilst still working to deadlines         
• Ability to perform multiple tasks, adapt to changing priorities and work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment   
• Good interpersonal skills and proven record as a team player      
• Advocate of a healthy Nuclear Safety Culture
