We’re working in partnership with a global engineering, management and development consultancy supporting an on-going programme of works for nuclear decommissioning projects.
Project Manager (Electrical) – Temporary Contract role
40-45 hours per week
Project Manager with a good Electrical background in Nuclear/ Defence type projects required to lead and direct one or a number of multi-disciplinary teams delivering multi million pound projects such that the customer’s requirements are delivered and our client’s performance and profit margins are met. You will also be required to meet time, cost & quality requirements of our projects whilst ensuring the project is delivered safely.
Prepares and approves proposals and specifications
Launches the project and establishes effective communication routes
Monitors and controls project costs, resources and programme
Ensures relevant technical solutions are applied
Supervises project team to maintain required standards of quality and safety
Assess and mitigates project risks.
Reports directly to Divisional Director / Operations Manager
Directly supervises project teams, comprising of both company personnel and external contractor resources
Communicates effectively with all project stakeholders, especially client representative
Accountable for Project Financial Performance
• Chartered Engineer
• Sub-contractor and management experience
• APM or experience of Agile or Prince2 methodologies
