Job Purpose: Overall ownership, leadership and management of Q & Accessories delivery processes and procedures and initiate improvements to gain product quality, efficiency and timing. Working with the wider business to continually improve and grow the department, whilst achieving the Quality, Cost and Delivery Targets.

Key Responsibilities & Tasks:
Commission:

  • Lead +Alpha plan, working towards financial targets and creating a market leading offering to the customer
  • Day to Day management of the team and the tracker to reduce lead times and increase efficiency in the process
  • Work with Sales, Product Planning and Design teams to create a cohesive plan to grow the brand
  • Financial Definition, target, maintenance and responsibility
  • Lead project resource management ensuring all activities are adequately supported to deliver the projects.
  • Manage a direct reporting structure of supporting programme team members as appropriate to scale of project.

Collection:

  • Lead the programme management of each Collection project ensuring that control documents are up to date and robust planning is made to meet QCD targets
  • Lead process improvements activities to ensure that there is a continued focus on improvement of efficiency and profitability
  • Work with the rest of the business to create and implement a clear cycle plan for collection on all model lines
  • Financial Definition, target, maintenance and responsibility Lead project resource management ensuring all activities are adequately supported to deliver the projects.
  • Manage a direct reporting structure of supporting programme team members as appropriate to scale of project.

Accessories:

  • Lead the programme & engineering team to ensure that the ETRS for accessories is on track
  • work with the Aftersales & Design organisations to seek new opportunities on each model line for accessory growth
  • Financial Definition, target, maintenance and responsibility
  • Lead project resource management ensuring all activities are adequately supported to deliver the projects.
  • Manage a direct reporting structure of supporting programme team members as appropriate to scale of project.


Qualifications & Experience:

  • Automotive or Mechanical Engineering Degree or equivalent.
  • Extensive experience working in a leadership role within Programme Management.
  • Whole vehicle or complex system programme coordination / management experience.
  • Extensive knowledge of product development / creation systems.
  • Experience in component design, development and sign off.
  • Expert user of Microsoft Office tools particularly Project, PowerPoint and Excel. Confident giving presentations.
