An assignment is available for a Lifting Appointed Person to work on a large Energy-from-Waste project based in the North East. The assignment will initially be 20 hours per week for the first 2-3 months and then once the lifting ramps up, 50 hours per week.

Roles and Responsibilities:
Duties will include assisting and working alongside the site management team on site, review of method statements, risk assessments and lifting studies. The role will be very hands on and heavily administrative, documenting all lifts on site and overseeing site lifting and rigging activities between all parties.

Person Specification:

  • The ideal individual must be a competent BS7121 Appointed Person/ CPCS Code A62 Crane Supervisor (lifting operations).
  • Must have extensive Heavy lift supervision experience, ideally within power plant or chemical industry.
  • In addition, providing the coordination of lifting activities and interface between numerous parties.

Essential Experience : 

  • CPCS Blue Card
  • Previous experience as a lifting appointed person work on Waste-to-Energy or large Process Plant Construction projects
