Mechanical, Process and Electrical Engineering contracting company, looking to recruit for the above position

To increase the profile and visibility of the Client externally through the delivery of high value and influential marketing, communications and PR in the UK, significantly contributing to the overall development of company strategy
 Working closely with senior executives and managers to establish a range of internal organisational messages designed to keep staff informed of business developments
 Delivery of consistent, professional & accurate media across a range of internal and external stakeholders & activities ensuring the values of participation, partnership, sustainability, social responsibility, cost effectiveness, compliance, transparency and accountability are reflected in your work
 Working with others, formulate the organisation’s internal response to crisis PR situations
 Development and implementation of tools and processes that improve communication, internal and external marketing.
 External communications - Media relations, strategic PR, award entries, B2B, B2C, reputation management, and emergency response.
 Internal communications – Overall employee communications strategy, including but not limited to: compiling, editing and designing all newsletters; employee surveys; promotional material; e-shots; quarterly town hall meetings; intranet, and video production
 Marketing communications - Strategy, branding and design of all internal and external promotional material. Plan, edit and write content for a variety of internal communications mediums, such as a staff intranet, monthly magazine or regular email bulletin. You will also be required to work on the layout of content. Ensure internal communications messages are consistent across all mediums and for different departments of the organisation
 Digital communications - Management and maintenance of CMS, website strategy, SEO, and direct mail CMS.
 Event management - Project management of all internal and external events.
 Video - Storyboarding, project managing, filming and editing.

  Ideally spent 5+ years in a Marketing, Communication position with a sound knowledge of a range of administrative and design techniques
 Have an excellent understanding of how to use marketing tools and techniques to increase the visibility, profile and reputation of an organisation A strategic and creative thinker with proven experience of working on diverse and wide ranging communication strategies including all forms of media.
 Achievement oriented - ability to manage multiple targets, prioritise conflicting demands, overcome obstacles, and work with enthusiasm
 Excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to skilfully negotiate and influence others, and build good working relationships internally and externally
 Confident in the use of IT with specific skills in the use of design/photo editing software including Adobe InDesign, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe PhotoShop
 Positive disposition, demonstrating self-motivation,  enthusiastic, diplomatic and calm under pressure
 Ability to develop creative ideas and transform them into practical reality
 Degree qualification (preferably in Marketing, Media, Communications or Journalism)
 A professional qualification from the Chartered Institute of Public Relations or the Chartered Institute of Marketing
 Very high level of sophistication in written and oral English with strong attention to detail
 Editorial / Article writing experience
