Purpose of the Job: To manage the existing product ranges in order optimise gross margin leading to EBITDA growth. To drive the introduction of new products in to the business.

Main Tasks and responsibilities:

  • To take ownership of Rangemaster’s existing product range and monitor sales performance throughout the product lifecycle.
  • To identify and recommend tactical action to ensure product gross margin is maximised across the ranges.
  • To continually review product offer and market positioning in order to identify any gaps in product range.
  • To gather information and report on the market where necessary for Sales & marketing teams.
  • To create processes to ensure that new products are introduced into the business in an efficient and effective manner.
  • To create processes to ensure that where necessary current products are removed from the product range in a timely and efficient way.
  • Work closely with Supply Chain and Suppliers for the management of current and new products.
  • Regularly review portfolio performance against sales/margin/stock movement.

Skills and attributes:

  • Possess excellent creative, design & analytical skills
  • Understand the importance of attention to detail and be able to demonstrate they possess skills of a high calibre in this area.
  • Be a good communicator
  • Educated to degree qualification ideally in Business and/or Marketing
  • Have Product Management experience
  • Have a full, clean and valid driver’s licence
