We are supporting a multi-discipline engineering consultancy that works on projects in the process industries (water, oil, gas, chemical, pharmaceutical) with clients across the globe. Having been established for over 25 years, they employ industry experts to ensure they provide the best solutions to all the projects they undertake.

An opportunity is available for an Environmental Consultant to assist a North West based engineering consultancy working on project across various process industries.

Roles and Responsibilities:
Environmental Consultant with a specialism in either Flooding and Drainage or Phase 2 Contaminated Land Assessments.
Experience of Hydrogeological and Groundwater Risk Assessments would be beneficial.
As an Environmental Consultant, you will be reporting to the Principal Consultant and will have proven experience in a consultancy environment. You will be educated to at least degree level in a relevant discipline (e.g. chemical and physical sciences; engineering; environmental and earth sciences, environmental management, etc.) and will be required to work across a range of sectors.

Knowledge of modelling software and membership of a professional body are desirable.

Knowledge & Experience:

  • Experience and strong technical capability gained within a professional consultancy
  • Project experience/delivery across a range of industry sectors
  • Good knowledge of UK/European sustainability and resource management strategies and environmental legislation and policy is desirable
