Customer Services Representative is involved in organising and processing customer deliveries via suppliers or ex-warehouses whilst working to compliance guidelines.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Organises quotations from approved hauliers directly for Americas, Asia Pacific and European Sales.
  • Manages and processes despatches of orders to customers using approved European managed warehouse locations.
  • Organises the purchase and shipment of orders direct to Customers from Suppliers (incorporating neutrality where applicable)
  • Liaises with Planning for product availability, Logistics Controllers for order processing, CCR’s for order confirmation and Freight suppliers for transport bookings.
  • Books final dates for orders and maintains system dates, keeping all orders current and accurate.

Person Specification:

We are looking for candidates who have a good understanding of transport management and warehousing sales processing.

Applicants should be highly focused, excellent communication skills both verbal and written with the ability to manage time well and prioritise work patterns, ideally educated to degree level.  

Essential Experience:

  • Export principles in Europe and Rest of World including export documentation
  • Good understanding of transport management and warehousing sales processing
  • Commercial sales experience (including L.C.’s and Tenders)
  • Highly Customer Focused, Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • Good supplier contact exposure
  • Excel, Access, and Microsoft AX – ERP Platforms
  • Relevant Hazardous Goods Training
  • Ability to manage time well and prioritise work patterns
  • Education to degree level
