To provide marketing support to Marketing Managers, Product Managers and Customer Managers across the business. This is a Full-time Permanent Position working Monday-Friday although there is a possibility of slightly reduced days for the right candidate if required.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • To manage and develop a small team to ensure that the service meets the needs of the business.
  • To co-ordinate and manage all activities regarding exhibitions including stand design, set up, literature, brand reminders, stand rota and accommodation.
  • Ensure post-event evaluation is collected, analysed and produce reports for event stakeholders. Complete relevant CRM systems with information.
  • To co-ordinate International meetings relevant to the business, including communication and invitation of customers. Arrange travel, accommodation and registration of all attendees.
  • To liaise with relevant companies for creative and build design for exhibitions stands.
  • To co-ordinate all advisory board meetings with relevant Manager for each business stream including invitations, location etc.
  • Liaise with suppliers to obtain brand reminders/pens to meet promotional needs.

Person Specification:

  • Business literacy skills– business reports and letters written in a clear and professional style
  • Excellent organisational skills including work-scheduling and prioritisation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to detail, service orientation and team working.
  • Experience in organising and coordinating company attendance at external exhibitions and events.
  • Experience in organising internal Study Days/ Sales meetings and Product launch days.
  • People management experience would also be desirable

 Essential Experience: 

  • Experience of working in a commercial office environment, able to show aptitude and willingness to manage multiple tasks across the team.
  • Experience within a Marketing environment or possess an equivalent Marketing qualification.
  • Good PC skills in MS-Office including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Lotus Notes, Publisher and Photoshop
  • Experience with using SAP is desirable, however relevant training will be given as necessary.
