We are working in partnership with a client that provides technical expertise and commercial insight to deliver asset and infrastructure projects worldwide. They are a multidiscipline engineering consultancy that are technical specialists to support every point of a project's lifecycle for their clients. They are currently seeking a Senior Project Manager to support communications and infrastructure projects in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with the Supply Chain to progress procurement and manage delivery of civils projects through to in-service handover.
  • Managing sub-contracts, work packages and/ or small projects, ensure delivery of budget, schedule, scope, risk management & quality.
  • Issuing authorisations for work within the scope of own activity, i.e. Release of budget such that work can be undertaken and the contract or project delivered.
  • Creating Reporting Packs and delivery of Project Reports up through the business chain.
  • Ensuring compliance with all Project Management tools and techniques, e.g. Life cycle management, risk register, change control, etc.
  • Ensuring Health, Safety, Environmental (HSE), Quality Governance and compliance including application of Construction Design and Management (CDM) across all projects.
  • Assisting with decision making for projects on resourcing strategy, sub contract and supply chain activity.

Person Specification:

  • Significant and varied working knowledge and experience of all Project Management competencies within facilities management, buildings services or construction sector.
  • Experience of defining the scope of the project and of breaking this into manageable units; work breakdown structures, control accounts and work packages
  • Experience in identifying, assessing, allocating and managing project risks and project opportunities.
  • Experience in identifying, analysing and planning actions to communicate, negotiate, and influence internal/ external stakeholders.
  • Experience with a structured approach to planning, cost collection and performance measurement.
  • Experience or relevant qualification within HSE and CDM Regulations is essential.
  • Supervisory/Managerial experience.
  • Project Management qualification from Association for Project Management (APM), Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent experience.
  • Degree in a building related subject, or equivalent qualification.
