Job Purpose To assist in the preparation and execution of merchandise in global brand centres and events. Ensure stock is accurately recorded and controlled using the EPOS system.

Key Tasks & Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring the store at Gaydon is replenished with stock and looks presentable at all times. Manage the EPOS system.
  • Perform regular stock takes
  • Collect and book in stock, raise part numbers for new stock, register on the EPOS system
  • Provide a monthly financial report on the profit and loss success for Gaydon Store and all other global brand centres, pop up stores and events
  • Analyse consumer buying patterns and predicting future trends
  • Regularly reviewing performance indicators
  • Assist in managing plans for stock levels
  • Reacting to changes in demand and logistics
  • Liaising with other departments within the organisation to ensure projects are completed in a timely manner
  • Assist in the preparation of global events and attending, when required
  • Liaising with shop/warehouse personnel to ensure supply meets demand
  • Obtaining feedback from customers, dealers and management and implementing action plans
  • Report on and implement improvements to the merchandise process
  • Supporting ad hoc requirements and projects for the Merchandise/Sponsorship team as required

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Senior Business or Marketing qualification, degree or otherwise
  • Retail or other similar training and qualifications
  • Experience in retail/consumer goods management
  • Managed similar cross function roles across different departments successfully
  • Previous knowledge and experience of developing Marketing/PR plans and using experts for all areas of marketing and PR disciplines
  • Demonstrate ability to implement and measure ROI on stock spend plans
  • Working knowledge of MS Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Lead Management, campaign systems.
  • Project management, dealer & cross functional influencing skills
  • Previous knowledge and experience of leading cross functional teams within the luxury/retail sales sector
  • Demonstrates verbal and written communication skills, - able to influence/counter argue senior management & dealers
  • Knowledge of marketing best practices
  • Developing project management skills
  • Analytical approach to problem solving
  • Previous experience of coordinating agencies & external third parties
  • The capability and commercial awareness to identify opportunities to improve conversion, retention and repurchase rates
