An assignment is available for a Project Support Assistant to support the project based in Reading

Roles and Responsibilities:

This role is part of a large integrated team seconded into the client team focused on providing professional, high quality, project support & administration. It requires high levels of planning & organisational skills, along with the ability to build strong working relationships with a variety of internal & external stakeholders.

Principal Responsibilities:

  • Administration & project support to Client Management & the team.
  • Handling of confidential documentation with appropriate care.
  • Maintain and update technical progress trackers.
  • Quality check documents to project/company standards
  • Manage document management systems and libraries
  • Book meeting rooms, organise meetings.
  • Attend meetings, note decisions, note & track actions.
  • Prepare management information reports & disseminate information.
  • Maintain accurate & timely records (systems, databases, spreadsheets).
  • Work effectively with & maintain a strong relationship with key internal & external stakeholders.
  • Ability to identify opportunities for improvements to procedures, processes, systems and documents.
  • Supporting Health and Safety tasks.
  • Absence cover for other project support staff.

  • Ability to communicate effectively.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships internally & externally.
  • Compliance with health, safety, environment & other statutory requirements relevant to this role
  • Essential Experience: 
  • Relevant experience of internal communications / administration.
  • Proficient user of MS Office.
  • Ability to create presentations, meeting minutes etc.
  • Excellent planning & organisational skills.
  • Delivery of a high quality service with a focus on attention to detail.
  • Ability to meet deadlines, multi-task & prioritise work accordingly.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, demanding, ever changing environment.
  • Previous experience in a document control working environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, verbal & written, fluent in English language.
  • Ability to build strong working relationships with internal & external stakeholders.
  • A team player, self-motivated & able to work on own initiative.
  • SC security clearance (must be willing to go through clearance process if no clearance held at time of application).
