Process / Process Safety Engineer

Role

Are you a proven Process / Process Safety Engineer, having worked with chemical manufacturing end clients to provide engineering design and engineering support to projects?

Deliverables shall be provided for each flow case.

  • Block Flow Diagrams, PFDs and P&IDs as appropriate showing all relevant plant and equipment (existing and new, including caverns). The standard of this should be suitable for a +/- 25 % estimate.
  • Confirmation of flowrates achieved for current infrastructure, and mass balance for the same. Contractor to advise method i.e. spreadsheet etc.
  • Borehole Programme including assessment of Borehole life.
  • Quotes for all major equipment for all options. A summary document is acceptable.
  • Documentation - Standard software shall be used i.e. Microsoft office etc, input files as well as output files from any special programs so the work can be duplicated at a later date.
  • All calculations (including spreadsheets etc) shall be handed over to the client technical team
  • Timing - Contractor to advise overall program but must be complete including comments 6 months from commencement of the project.

To carry out the services the following skills and experience are required:

  • Degree qualified in Chemical Engineering or equivalent
  • Ideally be a Chartered Chemical Engineer
  • You will be a proven process engineer, having worked with chemical manufacturing end clients to provide engineering design and engineering support to projects
  • Prepare and present process deliverables to key stakeholders across the business
