Job Purpose: The purpose of this role is to work in close cooperation with the Senior Programme Manager to lead and deliver robust definition, planning and delivery of vehicle programmes on the AMR line.

Key Responsibilities & Tasks:

  • Coordination of Programme Gateways, tracking status of deliverables and collating Gateway evidence packs for advance distribution.
  • Monitor and progress resolution of actions from the PST meeting.
  • Manage the creation of programme SEL and PDL documents as directed by the Senior Programme Manager and ensure product definition documents (PMXU) are up to date.
  • Manage the collation and reporting to the Senior Programme Manager of the SEL and PDL responses.
  • Work with PMT areas and the Programme Coordinator to develop commodity plans that deliver releases at the appropriate Data Judgement (DJ) point and correct pedigree parts for vehicle builds.
  • Identify and plan release points outside of DJ events and create an appropriate Engineering Timing Release Schedule (ETRS).
  • Monitor commodity plans and act on deviations to establish and recommend appropriate recovery actions.
  • Assist in target setting/balancing and management of cost, quality timing and function.
  • Lead BOM to CAD alignment exercise and Virtual Series events as primary point of contact for Programme.
  • Identify the required information to define the overall programme timing plan, integrating commodity plans, launch plans and build points and support the Programme coordinator to collate a robust level of information.
  • Support programme cost reviews, redbook deep dives, cost down / cost saving activities.
  • Manage concern resolution including administration of the Company’s change management system (regular reviews), concern metrics and reporting. Review with the Senior Programme Manager and escalate as appropriate.
  • Support PMT / PMST meetings as required acting as the voice of the Programme.
  • Work with the relevant departments to plan and execute prototype builds including number of vehicles, specification, BOM, and prototype commodity plans to ensure builds are fit for purpose.
  • Lead minor model programmes including financial and delivery responsibility.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Automotive or Mechanical Engineering Degree or extensive relevant experience.
  • Whole vehicle or complex system programme coordination / management experience.
  • Extensive knowledge of product development / creation systems.
  • Experience in component design, development and sign off.
  • Expert user of Microsoft Office tools particularly PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Confident and authoritative presentation skills.

Job Purpose: The purpose of this role is to support the Lead engineer and PMST Leader in the design, development & release of Interior Trim components.

Key Responsibilities & Tasks:

  • Preparation of detailed drawings to AML drafting standards including identification of SC’s/CC’s, reference points and individual part tolerances
  • CAD literate with the ability to design and model interior trim components
  • Create & update construction sections to support design reviews
  • Work within FMA checklist process
  • Use digibuck to review and present design concepts
  • Preparation and ownership of engineering release packs where required
  • Work under the direction of lead project engineer/PMST leader on a day to day basis
  • Support Project Engineer in the development of robust designs to meet performance targets
  • Support pre-production build events and virtual build events
  • Support tolerance studies to ensure manufacturing compatibility
  • Support generation of DVP and DFMEA studies
  • Support pre-release failure mode detection event activities
  • Ownership of concerns resolution including interim containment actions where required
  • Liaison with external suppliers on technical issues and internal departments as required
  • Preparation of commodity plans for specific owned systems


Qualifications & Experience:

  • Engineering degree level or equivalent
  • Knowledge of interior trim components, Carpets, plastic injection moulding components, Vac formed parts, machined metal products and metal bracketry.
  • A working knowledge of component manufacturing, tooling requirements & lead times.
  • Knowledge of Automotive Programme Management processes and systems
  • Proficient in CAD
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Self-starting and self-motivated
  • Ability to work under pressure to agreed deadlines
  • Knowledge of leather trimming and mechanism systems would also be advantageous.

Job Purpose: The role exists to work with the minimum of supervision within the Body Interiors Department on the design, development and release of interior trim components. The primary role is to support the PMST and supervise the Senior Engineer in the production of finished designs and drawings ensuring all programme and component attribute/performance targets have been met

  • Ownership of concerns resolution including interim containment actions where required
  • Liaison with external suppliers on technical issues, and internal departments as required.


Qualifications & Experience:

  • Educated to degree level or equivalent within an engineering related discipline with automotive experience in component design, NX knowledge being an advantage.
  • Experience of legislative and DV requirements for the design of interior trim.
  • Experienced in the design of interior trim componentry
  • Knowledge of interior trim components, Seating, Carpets, plastic injection moulding components, Vac formed parts, S-RIMM, machined metal products and metal brackets etc.
  • Knowledge of leather trimming and mechanism systems would also be advantageous.
  • A working knowledge of component manufacturing, tooling requirements & lead times.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Good ability to clearly present information to all levels in the organisation.
  • Knowledge of AML MISSION (AMPCS) process and participation in PMST would be beneficial.
  • Knowledge of the Failure Mode Avoidance techniques and processes would be an advantage.
  • The ideal candidate will be a focused, highly motivated, results orientated individual who works well under pressure and can work to a given deadline.
  • Ability to work well within a team environment is essential.
  • Driving licence, Medical clearance to drive company vehicles.
