An exciting opportunity is available for a Bio Process Engineering Consultant to assist a growing consultancy specialising in the design of projects within the Bioprocess and Pharmaceutical Industry.

Roles/Responsibilities:

This position is suitable for biochemical and bioprocess engineers with a minimum of 8 years’ experience within engineering design, with a particular emphasis on biopharma projects. A level of design practice knowledge in line with time served is desirable.

This is a senior technology appointment with the incumbent reporting to a Senior Manager.

Overview of Engineering Skills:

Biotechnology:
Detailed understanding of the manufacturing processes utilising living organisms, especially microorganisms including, bacterial, yeasts and moulds, mammalian cells, viruses and transgenics.

Knowledge of the following product sectors:

Industry Standards and Codes:

Essential Experience:

The minimum requirement is a full degree or a postgraduate degree (masters or doctorate) in Bioprocess Engineering or a related subject as recognised by the IChemE. The incumbent must be intent on full membership of the IChemE and the title of Chartered Engineer.
Candidates must have a proven background in Biopharma or related projects as the incumbent will be responsible for client liaison, client development and technical delivery in this area.
