Nuclear Engineering Design Consultancy - Multidisciplinary

Roles and Responsibilities:

Electrical Engineer (Site based)

Site based E&I Electrical Engineer reporting to the Site EC&I Manager. To support the overall implementation of the engineering strategy and framework for the designated project. Manage materials, plant and labour within allocated budget and resources. Lead or support assurance on projects through conducting audits and regular meetings with project teams. Ensure that the Construction resources and programme is efficiently managed so that all installed electrical equipment is fit for purpose and installed in line with all project, site and national requirements. Ensure the efficient operation of procurement, material control policies and procedures. Contribute to the accurate and efficient provision of progress and productivity reports weekly and monthly to senior management.

The project will safely design and deliver a Plant and the works in accordance with the requirements of the contract to enable conditioning of wastes from the various donor plants carried out in line with the Employer’s needs and to the satisfaction of stakeholders of the project.

Person Specification:
An understanding of Building Information Modelling (BIM) and how to read and assemble BIM models and produce appropriate reports from them is desirable.

Essential Experience : 

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in E&I Nuclear Industry and a subject matter expert
  • Successfully completed a recognised CE&I apprenticeship.
  • Previous management experience within the construction or relevant support services industries
  • A valid CSCS card is required

Assistant Traffic Engineer

Assist in assessing and advising on planning applications, investigating and responding to traffic and road safety related enquiries, developing local policies and designing, procuring and supervising the construction of small-medium highway and road safety improvements.

This requirement will mainly be to assist with dealing with planning applications affection the county roads through Highway Development Control. 

Essential Experience : 
• HNC in civil engineering or other relevant discipline.
