Manufacturer of Agricultural Fertilizers. To provide the lead source of professional electrical expertise for the Ince Site with full responsibility for the site HV distribution system. To lead sage electrical working practise on low, medium and high voltage systems on plants and distribution systems.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Understanding the specialist legislation in the Electrical Engineering field and developing and implementing a plan to achieve and maintain full compliance.
  • Define and oversee the required engineering standards and best practise for Electrical work and take responsibility for meeting National and Company criteria in terms of Environment, Health and Safety.
  • To be a “Fully Authorised Person” as defined by the site instructions, and is responsible for all high voltage operations carried out on the Site system.
  • Detailed understanding of the Specialist Electrical equipment on the Ince site.  As such positioned to lead the investigation and resolution of plant trips, equipment failures, incidents and near-misses where in depth Electrical technical understanding is essential.  Ensure root causes are established and permanent solutions implemented and shared cross Site.
  • To ensure that all Electrical Operations and Maintenance activities are carried out on the Ince Site safely.
  • Ensure that all Electrical related work during turnarounds for the plants are completed to agreed cost, duration and EHS criteria.
  • Responsible for the Electrical work planning, selection of specialist contractors and execution of critical Electrical tasks, packages and projects.
  • Specify and manage the design and implementation of serval improvement projects each year to time and cost budges and ensure all projects are completed fully according to the Modification Procedure.  In particular, the accurate keeping of records is essential.
  • Identify unreliable equipment by lost production analysis and critical equipment reviews, and implement systems for its repair or replacement. Implement predictive and preventive techniques where appropriate.
  • Identify appropriate critical Electrical spares holdings for plant equipment and ensure they are available and fit for reliable service.
  • Provide the specialist functional Electrical training to the maintenance team and monitor and report their competence to fulfil the needs of the Site.

Experience:

  • Full compliance with all relevant legislation pertaining to Electrical systems across site.
  • Fully detailed asset integrity and maintenance plan for all Electrical Distribution equipment.
  • Fully scoped 5year capital spend plan for all Electrical Distribution equipment.
  • Delivery of all Capital Projects to schedule and budget.
  • All Electrical Maintenance Technicians to be fully competent in their roles with detailing training records.

Qualifications:

  • Degree qualified or have significant professional technical experience (minimum of ten years) in the unique area of Electrical systems operations and maintenance.
  • Have a thorough understanding of the Electrical equipment on the Ince site and the legislation that pertains to it.
  • Experience from working on a Top Tier COMAH site.
  • Experience of project management pertaining to HV Electrical Distribution systems.
  • Strong communication skills at all levels of the organisation.

Manufacturer of Agricultural Fertilizers To be the Area I&E Engineer for the Ince Site Fertiliser Manufacturing Department. Responsible for the delivery of projects and modifications whilst also providing shutdown and maintenance support on the FMD area.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • To be the I&E Asset Engineer for the FMD area
  • The management and execution of I&E projects and modifications across the FMD area to time and budget contraints.
  • Providing I&E engineering support to the plant manufacturing organisation to ensure the maximum process on-stream factors are safely achieved.
  • Execution of the I&E aspects of multi-disciplinary projects managed by others.
  • Planning and execution of plant shutdowns to time and budget constraints.
  • Management of I&E Supervisors, Tema Leaders and Contractors during shutdowns and project installation/commissioning activities.
  • Maintenance and modification of the site DCS and ESD systems.  This will require the jobholder to develop a high level of skill in numerous engineering configuration software packages.
  • To be conversant with current legislation with respect to the I&E Engineering function within the company, to help ensure that compliance is met.
  • To be proactive at suggesting operational and maintenance improvements in all areas of the business.
  • Ensuring that all I&E engineering records are maintained and updated as required when new equipment is brought into commission.
  • Assisting with technical evaluations and investigations of incidents, near misses, I&E component or system failures.
  • Drafting of new policy documents, engineering scopes, maintenance and testing procedures for approval by the Site I&E Engineer.

Experience:

  • The candidate will be an I&E Engineer with experience of working with in a chemical or similar industrial environment.
  • A thorough working knowledge of I&E equipment installation and maintenance is essential.
  • Experience of software configuration, testing and commissioning must be demonstrated.
  • Skills:
  • Thorough understanding of I&E Engineering, including knowledge of regulatory requirements including Safety Instrumented Systems, electrical installations regulations and testing, Ex installation inspections and management.
  • Knowledge of process safety management and working under COMAH regulations.
  • Experience in the specification, installation and maintenance of instrumentation and control valves.
  • Experience of DCS/PLC system programming, testing and commissioning.
  • Experience in the use of common PC software packages such as Excel, Work, CMMS and Outlook.

Qualifications:
Applicants will be Degree qualified in:

  • Instrument/Electrical/Control Engineering.  Ideally a Chartered Engineer, or working towards Chartership.

Our client a large Engineering Consultancy are seeking an experienced contract Mechanical Engineer to work on the design of Waste Water Treatment plants for the Welsh Water framework. They are wishing to recruit a Bridge Engineer (minimum of 2-4 year’s experience) to join their established bridges design team. This is a technical role and you must be hands on and be able to produce Bridge calculations however the role will mainly involve Bridge Assessments.

Experience of structural design in accordance with Eurocode and British standards is desirable:-

  • Experience of design of reinforced concrete, composite concrete and steel elements is required.
