Oversee and maintain systems in the regulatory department to ensure the effective day-to-day operastions

• Ensure data integrity within regulatory systems, to prevent data degradation and errors
• Review and modify existing regulatory system related processes and identify areas for improved efficiency and effectiveness
• Produce effective communication regarding regulatory systems use ensuring all users are working effectively
• Perform data extraction, transformation and importation of regulatory systems writing scripts where necessary for ‘en masse’ changes
• Liaise with ERP teams to ensure data synchronicity between regulatory and ERP systems
• Become the custodian of the LPI software and help improve the labelling systems
• Assist with creation of SDS (safety data sheets) and labels

Person Specification:

• Ability to work with large and complex specialist datasets, ideally with a chemical industry regulatory focus
• Experience of operating globally with a due concern for geographic and cultural differences would be ideal
• Good communication skills – ability to communicate effectively to both a technical and non-technical would be ideal

Full training can be given to the successful candidate.  However, applicants will need to be very IT literate with the appetite to learn and an interest or qualification (ideally qualification) in Chemistry and OR IT/Programming etc.

• Qualified to A Level or equivalent, maths or computing preferred.  A degree or equivalent would be beneficial
• The successful candidate should possess a flexible attitude and willingness to learn
• A years’ experience in the chemical industry is preferably but not essential, with a good working knowledge of the global regulatory environment.
