Our client has an immediate requirement for IT consultant to join the IT Service Desk Support Team responsible for a thousand users onsite a busy chemical manufacturing plant. You will be responsible for providing technical support to desktop computers, applications, and related technology, directly assisting users. Activities require interaction with hardware, application software and operating systems to diagnose and resolve unique, non-recurring incidents.

· Diagnose and resolve as many calls as possible at 1st line during first initial contact
· Logging and Monitoring calls received by email, Telephone onto PC tool
· Log calls that can't be resolved to relevant support groups
· Interact with 2nd/3rd line Technical Support, Applications and Network Operations teams to resolve incidents
· Initiate and follow escalation paths where necessary
· Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills to resolve hardware or software incidents where possible.
· Utilises and updating SharePoint
· Manage folder access using Active Directory
· Reset desktop password
· Telephone Bureau
· Liaise with Vodafone for Telephone requests
· Focal point (Trainer) for VC'S
· Focal point (Trainer) for I-phone deployment
Requirements: 
· Proven track record of resolving IT issues at 1st line
· Experience of working in an environment with a large number of IT users
· Strong problem solver
· Working knowledge of SharePoint
