Job Purpose: Responsible for authoring the Commercial Aston Martin Dealer eLearning modules, using a dedicated authoring tool (note: as this is a new role, the exact authoring software license is still to be purchased – likely to be Articulate). To work closely with the Commercial eLearning Executive to build engaging and ‘on-brand’ eLearning modules that first and foremost deliver a positive learning experience. To update and refine existing eLearning modules, opening SCORM packages and adapting as required to ensure modules remain up to date in line with Model Year changes etc. Day to day management of the LMS system

Key Responsibilities and Tasks:

  • Create modules based on the storyboards and learning content of the eLearning executive and Global Dealer Training Manger which is engaging, imaginative and in line with Aston Martin’s core brand values and which achieves results and customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure new interactive e-Learning modules are in place for all job roles within our global dealer network, in multiple languages, delivered to tight deadlines.
  • Develop the technical packaging for new quick demo training videos to address knowledge gaps in the dealer network.
  • Be responsible for the day to day enhancements, and updates to, the Global Dealer Training Learning Management System (Aston Martin Academy), and manage the system supplier effectively
  • Support the training team with administration of all training and reports as required.
  • Support Training Needs Analysis for the franchise Dealer network and Training Evaluation.
  • Keep up to date with all new e-Learning developments and technologies.
  • Investigate new training technologies such as reward badges, interactive glasses, augmented reality, learning via gaming and new generation training ideas to cater for all learning styles.
  • Sending materials by UPS.
  • Supporting ad hoc requirements and large scale projects for the Global Dealer Training team as required.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Automotive or Luxury brand experience/ Business degree or equivalent experience.
  • Excellent people skills; confident and outgoing, able to develop relationships with senior Aston Martin staff, senior dealership staff, suppliers and agencies
  • Understanding of training needs in the dealer network, giving consideration to regional and cultural differences
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Good presentation and creative skills.  High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Self-motivated, reliable, positive and enthusiastic, with a flexible and adaptable approach
  • Fully conversant with Microsoft Office (essential), and experience of Learning Management Systems and eLearning Authoring Tools (essential)
  • Confident IT user (Adobe, Flash, SCORM Packages, as well as able to pick up and use complex internal databases and systems with minimal supervision)
