Essar Oil (UK), a prominent player in the shipping and
marine industry, achieved a significant milestone yesterday that marked a
historic moment for the company.
After nearly a decade, a partly loaded Very Large Crude
Carrier (VLCC) successfully made its way into Tranmere port.
The vessel named Sea Pearl, carrying an impressive cargo of
over 1 million barrels of crude, safely docked at the port yesterday afternoon.
Currently, the unloading process of West Texas Intermediate crude from the
United States is underway. This accomplishment showcases EOUK's commitment to
efficient operations and contributes to the seamless flow of global energy
resources.
The successful docking and unloading of the Sea Pearl would
not have been possible without the collective efforts of multiple teams. The
Marine team of STL, Operations team of the Essar refinery, and IST/Shipping and
EPS teams played pivotal roles in making this historic achievement a reality.
Their expertise, dedication, and collaboration were instrumental in ensuring
the smooth execution of this operation.
Essar is at the forefront of the industry, constantly pushing boundaries and achieving new milestones. This accomplishment further solidifies the company's position as a key player in the shipping and marine sector here in the North West.
